In 2010, Allison volunteered at Udayan Care's home in India. It was here that she met fellow Princetonian, Aunna Wilson, and discovered her passion for service and love of India. After graduating in 2012 with an A.B. in sociology, Allison taught English in Thailand through Princeton in Asia, then 10th grade in the Bronx with Blue Engine. Using her teaching experiences from around the globe, she makes Pasand's curriculum engaging and interactive. She also taught the first Pasand lessons in Bangalore. In 2014, Allison completed a documentary storytelling program at the Salt Institute, with a focus on writing and multimedia. Allison currently works in New York City for the tech startup Betaworks, where she is producing a podcast.
Sudarshan has twelve years of experience developing business models and innovative products around the needs and requirements of the targeted customer market. Using his experience in the education field, Sudarshan applied his IT knowledge to conceptualize innovative products for schools, manufactured and marketed low cost computing hardware (EduPC) to schools, and hosted seminars for schools to educate them on "New Evolving Technologies in Education." Sudarshan has previously worked with education firms in sales, marketing and operations. He was also a part of the core team at NextBiT Computing & IE Education, India. His deep understanding of the education space and community, specifically within Bangalore and Chennai, has been invaluable in the development of Pasand's scalability and sustainability strategy.
